Coming to study in the UK is a big and exciting step. You’ll join our diverse campus, with students from over 140 different countries.
We have a range of events and activities for international students, to help answer any questions you may have before you start your studies with us.
You’ll hear from staff in our international teams, alumni and current students. Our activities include global webinars, Q&As, offer holder groups and events in your region or country.

Global Pre-departure Briefing
The Global Pre-Departure was held on Wednesday 16 July for all international offer holders starting in September 2025.

Join the British Council in Hong Kong for their annual in-person Pre-Departure Briefing for UK bound students. This event will provide general information on studying in the UK, including practical tips for preparing your journey and guidance on settling into life in the UK.

Southeast Asia Pre-departure Briefing Events
Join staff from the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Office at these in person events to learn more about visa and immigration, travel and arrival and what to expect during your time at Leeds. You will also get the opportunity to meet current ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É students and other offer holders planning to join Leeds in September 2025.
Places are limited and walk-ins will not be admitted.

Offer Holder Groups
Join staff and fellow offer holders in our regional offer holder groups. The groups are a great opportunity for you to ask questions about preparing for and studying at Leeds, get updates and find out about activities that you can participate in.
You’ll be invited by email to join your respective offer holder groups in the period following the receipt of an academic offer to study at the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É. If you haven’t received the email invitation, please email the ÑÇÖÞÉ«°É Office: internationaloffice@leeds.ac.uk.
