We bring together scientists and engineers across a wide range of disciplines to work on our聽six research themes,聽pursuing both fundamental and applied research.
We work with industry and other partners to develop new insights and solutions for innovative products, devices and applications.聽We also provide world-leading聽experimental and analytical facilities聽to understand and build materials from the atomic to the macro-scale.聽
We are a founding partner of the聽, the UK鈥檚 centre for advanced materials research and innovation.
