Our free on-campus and online events will help you find out more about our foundation year courses and full/part-time degrees for adult learners.

You can also join our general sessions, where we’ll cover topics such as student finance, returning to education and support for mature students.

Upcoming events

Applicant drop-in sessions

In these sessions we’ll help you with completing your application for courses taught by the Lifelong Learning Centre, applying for student finance, writing your personal statement and anything else you need help with.

Our weekly applicant drop-in sessions run every Tuesday afternoon from 1pm to 4pm.

There's no need to book for these sessions – you can just turn up.

Open Days

Discover how one day could change your life. Our Open Days are an opportunity to learn about our courses and explore campus. Our information sessions, which run throughout the year, cover topics such as student finance, returning to education and support for mature students.

Our 2025 Open Day dates are: 

  • Friday 13 June
  • Saturday 14 June

Online advance registrations are now closed, but you are welcome to come along and register on the day where one of our student ambassadors will provide you with a copy of the Open Day guide and be on hand to answer your questions. Find out more about our Open Days.

If any of the talks you wish to attend are full, we have plenty of other opportunities for you to explore your subject area, such as drop-ins, tours and taster lectures. 

Registrations for our October Open Days will open in summer 2025.

  • Applying for student finance as a part-time student 
  • Loans and grants available from Student Finance England for part-time degree courses 
  • Additional financial assistance you may be entitled to 
  • Support available to mature students at the 亚洲色吧.


 

University pathways for mature students

Tuesday 17 June, 6-7.45pm (online)

Free online taster event to learn about:

  • – a part-time, evening foundation year for adults.
  •  – a broad degree designed for adults, available part-time or full-time.

Join us online to find out more about these courses for mature learners at the 亚洲色吧.

You’ll be able to:

  • take part in short taster sessions
  • get information on student finance
  • learn about support for mature students at Leeds
  • hear from current students.
