Staff induction

We want you to settle into your new work environment as quickly as possible. Our probation process is designed to give you the support you need to perform in your role to the best of your ability.

We hold regular induction sessions for new starters to welcome you and introduce you to the wider University. These sessions give you the chance to meet the Vice-Chancellor and learn about the University community and our values.

After the induction, you’ll also have the opportunity to take a walk around our induction fair, which will familiarise you with our campus.

Additional induction sessions run by  can help you learn about more specific areas of the University, such as student education and research and innovation.
